RIGHT: Picture presented by Richard Perry Ex PC 457'A' /154983 now living in Sacremento, California USA. (his comments are shown below)

Attached is a picture taken in June 1965 or June 1966 on Trafalgar Square. On the left is PC 260A Jim Sutherland and on the right is (myself) PC 457A Richard Perry. Both in Number One dress for the Trooping of the Colour. While Jim tells me he has not changed a bit, I am no longer the youthful, slim young officer I once was!
I recall that this particular Trooping was under a blazing sky and those wool No 1's were not made for the hot weather.
Interestingly, in the late 1980's I brought the family back to London, and the same photographer came up and recognized me from at least 20 years before. I was truly amazed.
Best to all,
Richard Perry

LEFT AND BELOW; Two caricatures presented by Ex PC Michael THORNTON. The caricatures are by PC Ian NUTTALL who was attached to the Palace of Westminster in 1985. The first depicts the first live broadcast of debates from The House of Lords by the BBC. The caption reads " and then Mr Dimbleby said....".
From left to right : Lord Graham, Lord Denham, Baroness Trumpington, Principal Doorkeeper Doug Huxley, PC Michael THORNTON and Baroness Masham in wheelchair.

All the Peers in the original bought a copy and Lord Denham had a print made for Doug Huxley and Mike THORNTON.
RIGHT: The Central Lobby, House of Commons. The tall PC in uniform is PC Len COLES (now deceased) and behind him is PC Roger KING without helmet.
Left to right: Claire Short MP, not sure, not sure, not sure, not sure, Oliver Letwyn MP?
If anyone can help identifying the other MP's contact Alpha Delta Plus.

Winston is now resident in Australia. He was the Captain of The Palm Court Cricket Club (Palace of Westminster Police) for several years.
He now plays bowls in Australia at a high level and to quote him.... " Why did it take so long to discover this lovely game".
RIGHT. Another excellent pictorial memory of days gone by presented by Ex PC 661 'A'/ 143870 Raymond Ware.
The Police Lodge at The Palace of Westminster. This was the 'hub' for all things 'Police' within the Palace.
There was a cell used regularly when the Sergeant At Arms 'sentenced' persons who had broken the 'House' rules to various terms of imprisonment.
